A combination of theory and practical skills will cover media and mixes, watering, fertilizing, as well as the best ways to grow from seed in a controlled way supplying the needs of a home garden. While angled towards growing vegetables, the techniques are equally relevant to growing flowers and other plants. An important part of the program will be how to plan and prepare the vegetable garden for year after year of sustainable organic production.
