propagation of seedlings for vegetable gardens

Picture
Seed growing made easy with Pete.

Peter Gardener is a qualified horticulturist and TAFE trainer with over 25 years nursery experience and 40 years growing vegies in Gippsland.

This combination and theory will cover media and mixes for cuttings as well as the best ways to take cuttings for different plants.

Angled towards growing natives, the techniques are equally relevant to growing most plants.

A short study of soils and soil management will be included.

The cost includes all materials, mixes and pots. You can expect to grow over $100 worth of seedlings.

Time: 5.30pm-7pm
Cost: $25 per person (full four weeks)

Destash day

Picture
Calling all makers, creatives, collectors and crafty treasure hunters!

Once a month, we'll be hosting a Destash Day, the perfect opportunity to clear out those fabric pieces hiding in the cupboard, unopened paints, tools still in their wrappers, and any crafty or arty supplies you're ready to pass on to to inspire someone else.

On the second Saturday of each month, you can book a table on your own or with a friend to sell, swap or give away your arts and craft materials.

Our first Destash Day will be held on Saturday 14 February, kicking off the new year with a fresh start and a chance to let go of unused supplies.

Date:  Saturdays 14 February and 14 March
Time: 10am-12pm
Cost: $5 per table (approximately 1800mm x 760mm)
Bookings: 5674 2444
